“Recorded evolution” means a player video or screenshot shows the evolution completing. Evolving keeps the hero’s level, XP and trait.
The Premium Battle Pass includes 2 of every evolution item, and the 2x Drops pass doubles material drops — see gamepasses.
How long does one evolution take?
- Materials: 10 wins of the right Act 5 (5 with 2x Drops). Act 5 stages are 8–11 waves long, and each replay also pays 50 gems.
- Pages: 5 Dungeon Train wins. The Train’s three cars refresh every 30 minutes, so plan on at least two rotations (modes).
- Gems: 1,000 — two days of the login streak cover it.
Which evolution first?
- Alien Jake — Jake is a free starter, and Ice Kingdom is the second world, so it’s the first evolution most players can finish.
- Adult Finn — the other starter; needs Fire Kingdom (world 3).
- Then evolve whichever Mythic or Legendary you pulled: Lemongrab 3, Marceline Beast, Prism Queen Rainicorn. These sit at the top of the tier list.
Mars Seal (hidden evolution)
The Crafting Table makes a Mars Seal from 3 of every evolution material + 10 Enchiridion Pages. Its description calls it “the royal seal of the King of Mars” and a Secret evolution item. In the cartoon, Magic Man becomes King of Mars — and Magic Man’s evolution is called King Man — so players widely believe the seal is his material. Nobody has shown the King Man recipe screen yet, so treat that as unconfirmed. Several players also say King Man isn’t worth the cost (tier list).
